Web Site Project:
First Hospital Foundation

Client Challenge: The First Hospital Foundation provides grants to non-profit organizations whose programs address the health needs of the most vulnerable and underserved populations in the five-county Philadelphia metropolitan region. They had never had a web site – just a placeholder page that gave visitors the Foundation’s contact information. Clearly, a change was in order.

Neptune Moon Solution: Neptune Moon developed an entirely new web site for the Foundation. The web site was designed both to meet the organization’s current needs and to serve as a foundation for future growth and further online development. The web site provides detailed information about the Foundation and the grant-making application and award process, as well as highlighting previous grantees. As the site is primarily designed to meet the needs of grant-seekers, the site navigation was structured to be as streamlined and intuitive as possible so that visitors could rapidly locate the desired information. The visual design was created by Twist 'N Shout.

In 2011 we added a private site section for the Board of Directors, built in a Content Management System.

Proven Results: : The new web site immediately brought in significant traffic and increased the number of grant applications made to the Foundation. Visitors unanimously reported a positive reaction to the web site’s graphic design, comprehensive information, and supreme ease of navigation. Visit the site now – www.firsthospitalfdn.org.
